Is it time to start your career?  RCN Capital is hiring Lead Development Specialists to work next to some of the best sales people in our industry! This entry level, high impact position will prepare the right candidate for a career in lending by being the “front door” to our lending programs.

The Lead Development Specialist will proactively respond by phone to inquiries about RCN Capital’s suite of loan products, qualify the lead, and assist with summarizing then pass the lead on to our team of Loan Officers. On a day-to-day basis, this role will be utilizing Salesforce, as well as other internal systems, to call and qualified interested parties, begin to get necessary information, put together the loan application, and pass the information onto the sales team. The Lead Development Specialist will also follow up with qualified leads to be sure they received the appropriate information, assist with the administrative process of submitting the application, and assist the sales team as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with pipelined leads to discuss the prospective real estate investment project
  • Discuss scenarios with prospective clients to qualify whether RCN Capital’s loan programs are a fit
  • Follow up with clients and provide information and support with the goal of the client submitting an application
  • Obtain documentation from interested clients to provide to Loan Officers for origination
  • Review broker registration process with brokers looking to newly register with RCN Capital and work with BLN team to onboard them
  • Handle all other inquiries and forward information to appropriate teams
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Lending

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Affinity for cold calling and qualifying leads via phone
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Required Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional office role
  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional phone-based role

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a real estate office, lender, bank, or financial services institution preferred
  • Experience or exposure to Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred
  • Experience with a LOS a plus

Education:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
