First and foremost, we strive to make sure all our clients are respected, fairly treated and fully informed. Second, we make our loan decisions right here in the office, based on our own assessment of the collateral and the borrower. We do not have the constraints a conventional lender does, so we can handle a wide array of unusual situations and borrowers. And if you are in the middle of a deal that could fall through because of a delay on financing, we can move very quickly.
History
In 1990, with a lending pool of about $250,000., Founder, Gordon Gallic started finding lending opportunities that typically needed fast or unusual financing. As word spread, friends and neighbors were interested in safe but greater than CD returns. With lots of due diligence and very conservative lending, the business grew steadily year in and year out. Due to an abundance of opportunities and a huge amount of new legislation, Gordon set out to find a business partner.
In 2005, Kerrie Johnson joined Gallic Financial. It was a perfect match and over the next few years Kerrie became an innovator and leader in the business. Gallic Financial became Gallic & Johnson Financial. In 2014, Gordon retired, and Kerrie took over the business. Late in 2020 Matt Powell joined Gallic & Johnson and became a partner in 2021 helping and assisting Kerrie with the business operations and loan originating. With over 20 years in real estate Matt quickly moved into a comfortable position working with borrowers and investors.
The name Blue-inc. Capital was created from the once required signing of legal real estate documents with blue ink. The reasoning behind that the color will stand out among the walls of black text on a document whole still being dark enough to read. Blue ink also indicates that the document is an original and not a copy. When Matt started his real estate career, he remembers the training and requirement to always have clients use blue ink. This was soon dropped as a requirement but the memory of “blue ink” and the requirement remains a reminder of the early days in his career. Now, Blue-inc. Capital stands out as a market leader in private lending.
