There were few private lending options when we were founded. Banks owned you. They took a long time to close loans. Often, they called your loan without there being a reasonable replacement.
Fidelity Mortgage Lenders, Inc. was originally Fidelity Home Loan Co. We started by specializing in residential equity loans and later expanded into commercial lending. We saw a market which needed:
- Loans that could be funded quickly,
- Alternative loan options for client flexibility, and
- Flexible underwriting, designed for clients (but not the traditional lenders).
Today, we make loans on commercial properties, along with non-owner occupied residential real estate. We provide funds for refinancing or purchases. We also offer first trust deeds to investors. Many of our clients have borrowed money – and invested it too – with our assistance.
Now in our fifth decade, Fidelity continues to provide loans to borrowers which larger lending institutions are unable or unwilling to fund. We grew by constantly responding to the needs of a changing real estate marketplace while serving a growing community of property owners and investors.
