Carlyle Capital funded a $1.2MM private money loan secured by a residential property in Southampton, Long Island, NY. The property is used as religious facility. An Orthodox Jewish Chabad needed short term financing to make some major renovations to the property. It was owned debt free, but their loan request was denied by 7 other conventional and private money lenders due to the use of the property. Carlyle was able to work with borrowers and focused primarily on the value of the asset. We were able to help not only the Chabad but its local community. We funded this private mortgage in April 2019.
