Zack Lofton

Founder & CEO

Our founder and CEO, Zack, has a passion for real estate and uses this to help our borrowers succeed. After a career in corporate commercial lending, he knew there should be an easier, common sense, approach to lending. Having grown up around construction, private lending was a natural fit. Loan Ranger Capital started as a small local lender which lent to a few friends and referrals. With a true entrepreneurial spirit, Loan Ranger Capital has grown significantly over the years while staying true to its roots of always putting its borrowers’ success first. Zack interacts directly with clients on a daily basis and borrowers have direct access to him at all times. When he’s not working, there’s a good chance you’ll find Zack at Zilker Park with his wife (Ali) and two dogs (Tito and Pickles).

Nik Petrik

Controller

Nik is currently the Controller at Loan Ranger Capital. He brings a degree from Pepperdine University in Economics with a Finance emphasis, in addition to his attention to detail while helping the company grow. Nik manages the portfolio at Loan Ranger Capital, including anything from accounting and portfolio analysis to ensuring that all draw requests are done as quickly as possible. He takes a vested interest in every project, striving to ensure each project is successful for both the borrower as well as Loan Ranger Capital. Nik currently resides in Austin and as a proud Austinite, is excited to continue to give back to the community.

Pat Skelton

Loan Coordinator

Pat is the Loan Processor at Loan Ranger Capital and continues to be an integral part of the team. She has extensive experience in the financial industry, working over 10 years as an Investment Accounting Administrator and Reporting Coordinator. In that time, she acquired her Brokers License and gained valuable experience in investments and accounting processes. In addition to that, she worked for five years as an Administrator at a local girls’ school where her daughter attended. Pat is a Texas native and graduated from Southwest Texas State. In her spare time, you might catch her running on Lady Bird Lake, or spending time with her family which includes her two adorable canines, Blue and Bailey.
